I have a Traxis and DSR-410 on the same wire, same moving C-band dish.
The Traxis moves the dish for FTA, and when I want to use the DSR-410 I just shut the Traxis off.
I have the 410 connected to the loop-thru on the Traxis but I recently found out that even with the 410 powered off it was causing problems and no signal on some transponders using the Traxis. Taking the 410 off the loop through solved all the issues.
So I was told via the Sattalk radio show last night to just purchase a Pico HFS2 High frequency splitter. The splitter has 1 power pass output.
So my question is which receiver should be put on the power pass side? Does it really matter?
I assume this power pass port is the one that will pass power from the receiver to the LNBF and block power from passing on the other side?
