I have a Traxis and DSR-410 on the same wire, same moving C-band dish.
The Traxis moves the dish for FTA, and when I want to use the DSR-410 I just shut the Traxis off.
I have the 410 connected to the loop-thru on the Traxis but I recently found out that even with the 410 powered off it was causing problems and no signal on some transponders using the Traxis. Taking the 410 off the loop through solved all the issues.
So I was told via the Sattalk radio show last night to just purchase a Pico HFS2 High frequency splitter. The splitter has 1 power pass output.

So my question is which receiver should be put on the power pass side? Does it really matter?
I assume this power pass port is the one that will pass power from the receiver to the LNBF and block power from passing on the other side?

Is the LNB a dual?(your sig makes it sound like it is)... If so run a separate line for the 410 or are bothy ports being used for FTA?

The 2nd port goes to my test system in the garage. That and there's already far too many cables coming into the living room and my conduit is already getting too full :)

Multiswitch then ;)
Put a 3x4 multiswitch on the C-Band LNBF...then you can have more then 2 outputs

But since you mentioned no more cables put the power pass on the Traxis...the only thing is the Traxis will need to be on the same polarity as what the 410 is on to watch TV on the 410

Now I know with some setups if you shut off the receiver with the power the other will still get one polarity. I think its horizontal but dont quote me on that....you'll have to try it

It sounds like adding the HFS2 will solve one problem but introduce another one (polarity). Turning off the Traxis on the powerpass will kill power to the LNBF.
So, I think I probably should run another cable into the house. Would solve all my problems.

That would be the easiest way to do it.....you will need a 2x4 or 3x4 multiswitch if you want 3 items off that LNB
I run 3 receivers off my C_Band dish fixed at 99W...2 FTA receivers and an analog unit (there is still some analog on G16)
