Hi,
I'm sure this is something that can be done, not sure sure what I need.
I have no internet near the TV and I have a slingbox. So I put in a node from a Linksys home wiring near the TV for the Sling. What I would like to do now, is use Netflix streaming, but I don't want to have to keep disconnecting the sling to use the computer on it. So I'm looking to see what I would need to put in, so that I could split the line to the internet so I can keep the sling plugged in, but also share it with the computer. Not sure if I just need a switch, or do I need a router or ?
I tested the Netflix streaming to the TV tonight and was blown away by how good it was on it. The problem is when I plug the internet connection back into the Sling, it wants me to go through the setup stuff again (usually).
Thanks for any advice you all come up with. It is much appreciated.
Jim
