How would characterize the speed with which HD channels are being added to SC?

The reason I ask is because I am wondering what you all think the chances are of NFL-ST being in HD on SC in 2007.

Thanks.

I presume NFL-ST is a US channel. In which case SC probably won't be able to carry it until there's another Canadian HD channel they can bring on as well.

NFL-ST is NFL-Sunday Ticket, which is already carried by StarChoice.

I am just wondering if, for the '07 season, we might see NFL-ST in HD.

DirecTV in the states carries NFL-ST in HD (but for added cost those greedy bastards).

I was hoping the NFL-ST in HD might come to SC soon that's all.

Ain't gonna happen. Shaw uses NFLST SD as a loss leader on Shaw Cable and SC. In addition they lose the revenue from 12 Viewers Choice PPV channels while NFLST is on.

It will only happen after the NHL comes to their senses and offers Shaw a decent price for C.I. Then SC and Shaw Cable can offer the same MLB/CI/NFLST deal as Rogers and Cogeco Cable have - $25/month for Sports Pak

Telesat going to lease DIRECTV1R at 72.5?
