soul of the south

very cool. I know you mentioned privately a low powered station that may not be on the air yet. Is the station on the air yet

What kind of over the or channel is this? I've never heard of it, and I don't think it's anywhere near my area.

Here in the DC area it is on as the main channel to Channel 49 (PSIP Data) a low powered digital operator with very limited coverage.

depending on tower location you may have to aim the antenna directly at it

fcc site shows its on "radio rd" right in jackson. home of the "forever south broadcasting" stations of wynu and wtjs
https://maps.google.com/?q=http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/contourplot.kml?gmap=2&appid=1637985&call=WYJJ-LD&freq=0.0&contour=51&city=JACKSON&state=TN.kml
my antenna is now aimed almost directly north. but a tad northwest. i'm getting a decent signal now even pointed directly at a tree

maybe when the leaves fall of it will help :)
but low powered stations are finicky the further from the tower you are. i learned that in minneapolis :)
