SONY SAT B-50 RECEIVER

BOUGHT USED SONY B-50 RECEIVER AND IT WON'T TURN OFF. IS THERE A RESET TRICK SO IT WILL POWER OFF AND ON USING MY RC64RB REMOTE? OFF/ON SWITCH WORKS ONCE AND THEN IT STAYS ON.

Leave it on it won't hurt it, just shut off the TV

Are you sure that the RC64RB remote can control the B50? That's a fairly old receiver.

slide the mode switch to D*, hold the mute and select keys until they blink twice then release the keys
press 01639 and then it should work
