I don't know how many of us are PSP owner but I am and despite I'm also painfully far older than its usual users, I love it, no matter its even made by The Evil Sony.
The main reason I love it is absolutely not the reason Sony hopes one would love it (supposedly UMD games and movies) - I love it because of its already large and thriving homebrew scene. It's one thing it's a really nice piece of machinery :D but thankfully Sony mistakenly/accidently have not secured everything in its first few firmwares yet last year and people were able to turn these originally security expolits into a whole new PSP world, the world of PSP homebrew applications.
If anybody has the same kind of 'perverseion', I'd like to hear about what homebrew apps/stuffs they consider 'must have' or the best.

PMPMod, to view movies in the full resolution of the PSP screen. Standard MP4 for the default Sony player are not even close on quality. PSPersonalize to change backgrounds. Dual Tetris is fun to play too.

How many hours will the PSP hold though?

With a 1 gig stick, just under 4 hours. I use an Apacer 211 USB hard disk to transfer movies to the PSP whilst on the move. You can fit a lot of stuff on the hard disk.

Dunno, as more and more site offers preformatted PSP versions, I'm more and more *not* willing to reconvert again...
