And I'll wait for a $600 recorder-player. OK, maybe a $500 player. And only if it looks like BR is the winner, or both will survive.

Then again, with my HD DVRs, maybe I don't really need a recording capability. And if the studios release to Dish PPV around the time they pump out BRs, even within 2 or 3 months, maybe I really won't need even a player, or can wait still longer for a much cheaper one.
