Great show last night and should be a great last 2 episodes of the series December 2nd and 9th!! Love the show Sons of Anarchy Afterword also where they talk about it and should they should of done it earlier in the series!!imo
We're almost there—we've only got two episodes left in this long, crazy ride. But while there are sure to be plenty of (extraordinarily violent) fireworks as Sons of Anarchy calls it a series, this week's "Suits of Woe" left both Tim and Kaitlin crying like little babies. Yep, it was just that emotional. In fact, they're still trying to sort out their feelings, if you care to listen...
Sons of Anarchy season 7 is on a short break and episode 12, the episode before the series finale, will not air on November 25.The episode has been pushed back until Tuesday, December 2.Titled “Red Rose,” the episode will see Jax “make the ultimate decision” as tensions mount and truths are finally revealed, according to the official description.Episode 13, or the series finale, will air on Tuesday, December 9. A description for the episode isn’t out yet. Both episodes will, as usual, air from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.One photo has emerged so far for Red Rose, showing Jax meeting with Unser. Also, Kurt Sutter told Entertainment Weekly that two SAMCRO members would die this season, meaning one will die in one of the final episodes. Juice is on the top of the list but there’s other possibilities, too, such as Happy. And Jimmy Smits (Nero) teased his character’s role in the final episodes.“Don’t get too happy. What did Nero do in Rome? He watched it all burn, right? The hand of the reaper, Kim. All-powerful,” he told Yahoo. He also described the finale as “heavy-duty.”That follows Katey Sagal saying that the ending “will not disappoint” and at another time calling it “satisfying.”Sutter also spoke previously about how much time he considered the final frame and revealed what he used as inspiration.
Warning: Character and storyline spoilers ahead for the “Red Rose” episode of Sons of Anarchy. You might have predicted any one of the three deaths in the penultimate episode of Sons of Anarchy, but three major characters — Juice, Unser, and motorcycle mama Gemma — ending their Charming lives just short of the series finale? It’s a devastating turn of events, to be sure, especially since that last death saw destroyed son Jax taking matters into his own hands to punish his mother — the woman who murdered the only other woman he loved, wife Tara.Katey Sagal, who won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Gemma, talked to Yahoo TV about the “merciful” choice to have her SAMCRO matriarch die, why the highly-anticipated showdown between mother and son played out so calmly, whether or not she thinks Gemma is, er, was, evil, and the memento she kept from the show. She also talks about lessons learned from working with her real-life husband, Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, and about their next joint project: the upcoming FX drama The Bastard Executioner.
Running into its seventh and final season, Sons of Anarchy has fast made itself into a must-watch drama reminiscent of other FX anti-hero classics like The Shield. Debuting back in 2008, we’ve seen the meteoric rise of Jax Teller (played by Charlie Hunnam), from his role as the reluctant VP of the infamous SAMCRO to the cold-hearted president with nothing left to lose.Sons has been lauded by critics and fans alike as one of the best shows FX has ever had grace its airwaves, as we say goodbye for good on December 9, when the series finale airs. Naturally, the talented cast will be looking for work elsewhere, so let’s find out where we’ll find them once SAMCRO rides for the final time (and of course, spoilers for every season of Sons of Anarchy are ahead, so if you’re not all caught up we recommend exercising caution before reading on).
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!In the penultimate episode of "Sons of Anarchy" Tuesday night, we expected big things as we head into the series finale. Boy were we right!
Sons of Anarchy fans, you have been warned: Nero Padilla’s idyllic life on the farm may not come to fruition after all.In the last 12 episodes alone, the FX drama’s body count has neared 100, including three major deaths — Juice, Unser and Gemma — that punctuated this week’s installment. That’s why Jimmy Smits wants Nero fans to be cautiously optimistic heading into Tuesday’s series finale.“There was a little bit of trepidation on everyone’s part when that final script came in,” Smits told reporters during a conference call on Thursday, adding with a laugh, “Nero made it to the end, but maybe not the end end.”Though Smits remained understandably tight-lipped about next week’s finale, he was able to hint that Nero will be left reeling in the wake of Gemma’s death — a death he could have prevented.“You’ll see more than guilt,” Smits said. “It’s touching in a lot of ways. It’s sad. But it’s grim, too.”
Say what you will about “Sons of Anarchy,” but series creator Kurt Sutter clearly doesn’t want to cross the finish line with an ounce of gas left in the tank. So the program’s penultimate episode featured a number of major events, leaving behind only the upcoming finale, which, given the length of these last few chapters, will begin on a Tuesday and might not wrap up until some time Thursday. The messy, blood-drenched final season has been assiduously moving along two key tracks, building toward Tuesday’s episode (and SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t watched).
Sons of Anarchy fans are in mourning after the events of Dec. 2’s penultimate episode, “Red Rose.” EW asked executive producer Paris Barclay, who says it’s his all-time favorite episode that he’s directed, to take us inside the most memorable scenes.
As Sons of Anarchy fans continue to debate whether they love or hate Jax (Charlie Hunnam) after the series’ penultimate episode, there’s one character, Nero (Jimmy Smits), who most folks believe deserves to make it out of Charming alive. At the end of “Red Rose,” viewers saw Nero sitting on Gemma’s bed sobbing: No news from Unser (Dayton Callie), whom Nero had sent to Oregon to intercept Gemma (Katey Sagal) before Jax could put a bullet in her, was bad news. “I think there’s pain, there’s guilt, there’s remorse. ‘Did you do the right thing?'” Smits told reporters during a conference call. “I’m sure the scenes afterward that aren’t written, or maybe you won’t get to see in between the episodes, are full of maybe anger and trying to grapple with what’s the next move. You gotta remember with all of these people, there’s this bubbling kind of how do they deal with the feeling of betrayal, and how [do] they try to go about exacting, one might term it, vengeance or making things right for them or their point of view.”
The series finale of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” is less than a week away, but some fans have already learned how the show ends after copies of the companion book, “Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector’s Edition,” were shipped early to consumers and retailers. The book was scheduled to be available for purchase the day after the finale (which airs Tuesday, Dec. 9, on FX), since it contains “personal messages and photos from the cast, in-depth behind the scenes information and detailed breakdown of episodes,” according to creator Kurt Sutter.Sutter took to Twitter to vent his frustration over the leak and apologize to fans for whom the finale may have been inadvertently spoiled, posting a typically expletive-laden missive on Twitlonger:
SPOILER ALERT: Sons of Anarchy character and storyline spoilers ahead.
Death is a part of life for the men and women of SAMCRO. Of course, the most devastating Sons of Anarchy death will be Dec. 9 series finale, when Kurt Sutter’s biker family drama rides off into the blood-red sunset. Here, we’re counting down the 20 most devastating deaths in SOA history, and while you might disagree with the order, we’re pretty sure you’ll agree that these characters have been sorely missed since their meetings with Mayhem.
