(This was the "original" musical version. "Am Ithe Same Girl" was recorded and released independently and nearly simultaneously by Barbara Acklin who was working at the same label. Depending on the source, the intrumental track was for Ackin and then release separately by the cover band, or words were added to the tune and Ackin performed it over the instrumental track sans piano. Both were hits))
