Paul, you hate which song, VH or Motley?

The Van Halen song. I loved Van Halen, just not that song, and "Jamie's Crying"(?). Not a Motley Crue fan. Never got into the eighties metal thing. The emergence of Punk / New Wave in the late 70's took me out of mainstream R'n'R. Listen to mostly indie rock now, mostly bands nobody has heard of. Currently looking forward to getting the new Wilco record.

Funny thing about me is that by time the bands I like "make it", I've probably stopped listening to them. For most bands, there first album is their best album. You have all your life to write that one, and then 6 months to write the next one....Most shoot their Wads on the first one. The third album is one where you find out if they have "long term artist" abilities.
