I've seen this on other boards and figured it might be cool to try it here...
Just name a song title and the band who performed it. The next person does the same thing, but needs to list a song title or band name which includes a word from the previous entry. Pick songs from any genre.
Example:
Long Live Rock and Roll -- Rainbow
Rainbow in the Dark -- Dio
Another example:
Ride the Lightning -- Metallica
Lightning Strikes -- Ozzy Osbourne
Get it?
That is the first post in this thread by Webbydude.
Huh?
Your definition is all the more reason Four Seasons should be allowed. Even Bobby said it is okay for a song. If only you'd been more colloquial in the first place, then there would be no problem . So why start that standard now instead of before I posted 'Four Seasons'? (I asked a couple people if Four Seasons was a song written by Vivaldi and they said yes - so conversationally/colloquially it's just fine.)
Double standard festival.
BTW - I just typed in 'theme' and your's came up. It took 1.5 seconds to do the search, no need to wade through 19,000 posts. Four Seasons is an instrumental.

The Four Seasons (Vivaldi Violin Concerto In e Major) - Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, G. Schwarz, Vivaldi Baroque Group
Give it a break! Is the 1812 Overture a song? West Side Story is not a song either although the music within it a collection of songs.
The Four Seasons by Vivaldi contains 4 movements each having 3 sections.
* Concerto No. 1 in E major, Op. 8, RV 269, "La primavera" (Spring)
1. Allegro
2. Largo
3. Allegro Pastorale
* Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 8, RV 315, "L'estate" (Summer)
1. Allegro non molto
2. Adagio e piano - Presto e forte
3. Presto
* Concerto No. 3 in F major, Op. 8, RV 293, "L'autunno" (Autumn)
1. Allegro
2. Adagio molto
3. Allegro
* Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "L'inverno" (Winter)
1. Allegro non molto
2. Largo
3. Allegro
In no way can you consider any of this a song within the standard taken up in the first post.
If you continue this, I am going to suggest that we all just ignore you so we can continue our pleasant game that has been going on for years without the BS that came up as soon as you joined it.
Funny How Love Slips Away - Narvel Felts
Where does this fit with anything posted on the last two pages? I love the song, but it doesn't fit any where that I can see.
Get Up (Sex Machine) - James Brown
