Personally, I prefer audible.com as reading in a traditional way is difficult for me due to too many distractions. I have my audibles on my phone and listen with BT so I can take calls at the same time. I have only used the Kindle ap for two books I wanted that were not available on audible or ipad store. Frankly, I think most of these text based books are over priced anyway, especially the ipad books. With my Amazon account, accessing the purchase from the way the Kindle ap does it is no trouble. Let them work something out behind the scenes and as lparsons21 believes, I'll just buy from the source with the best price. I've never purchased anything from itunes except aps. I only have the free books on my ipad bookshelf.
