Some questions. . .

When I press the red button, I get TV Viewing Status screen.

It shows all my tv's...and let's me "join" a program??

Can some one please explain the purpose of this screen? Can I join any program even if it's not the tv I am watching?

And

Can I set a preference for which tv records first? Before I could choose TV1 or TV2. I can't seem to do that any more.

You can choose any of the 3 tuner that you want to watch. The are no preferences for recording because tuners are not dedicated to TVs anymore.

The screen allows you to join a tuner rather than using another one. If all three tuners are in use, it lets you see if there is one you want to join or select DVR to watch a recording. There is no TV1/TV2, just 3 tuners on each Hopper used as available. You have to get used to a different model with this whole home system. You might also have to learn some family courtesy about using tuners.
