Did you try setting OTA timer that starts early and end late? What is your software version?

Start early/End late is still broken. Dish told me that it will be fixed soon.

It's been broken since May . So it took 6 months to fix the ota sub channel recording , it might take another 6 months till they fix the start early /end late feature on ota channels. So by next April or May ,a full year since they broke it , we might see a fix. That is the definition of SOON in Dish time.
