Software update 1035?

My HR24-500 keeps asking me too allow it to upgrade to version 1035 during prime time, usually when I am either watching something or recording something. Is there a way to make it upgrade at another time? I tried 02468 on boot, but the upgrade message keeps coming back.

Usually it updates in the middle of the night. For some reason, mine has decided to do it at 8:30 pm.

I think it's your TV asking for an upgrade to its own firmware, nothing to do with the DirecTv box....

Turns out you were correct. My Samsung LN55c750 wanted to update, not my HR24. Thanks for the help!

Most newer TVs; especially "smart TVs" get updates if their manufacturer's are worth a grain of salt.
