I played from home running 1D in NH. Heard plenty of stations on the air this weekend. and 10 meters was pretty crowded too considering band conditions. I did manage to work W1AW in Newington CT at ARRL HQ on 80 yesterday.

Our club ran 5A this year. We mostly eat, and poke fun at each other. We did manage to get over 700 contacts between food breaks. Do you happen to see WA8RRA in your logs? Steve was our 10 meter guy this year (and most years). Maybe you even talked to his daughter, who made 11 contacts this year. Her very first time on the radio! We did get W1AW on 10 meter phone and 20 meter CW. We really wanted all areas. We had all but Newfoundland, San Francisco, North Dakota and Puerto Rico.

The Salvation Army wanted emergency food preparation practice and we were more than willing to let them experiment. They brought out a truck and trailer and a grill the size of Montana. We suffered with steaks and brats all weekend long. Man our club can eat. If only we could work radio like we eat, we would probably have worked all areas.
