I took a look at the stickied and other threads, but don't see any clear pricing information. I am currently 6 months into a contract with DISH and have the 222k(no DVR).

How much would it cost to get the 922, and is there a monthly fee?

I have it and love it.. I had to pay $200.00 for it.. I have heard of some people paying up to $400.00 I guess it is based on your star rating with dish.. Also. dish charges a a DVR fee. for all other receivers it is $7.00 a month. But for the 922 it is $10.00 a month. I do not understand why it is more.. But for me it is worth the extra $ to get a tera byte hard drive..
 
I was still in contract when I got mine in May. The cost was $200 plus $15 install (I have DHPP) and the increase of $4/month in the DVR fee. I think the key may be when your last upgrade occurred. Give Dish a call and see what happens.

My current bill is $24.99/month+tax. I'm not going to add DVR service and have the bill go to $35+tax. I had a DVR back on cable and only used it a few times(less than 4 times in a month). :eek:.

I'd like the regular slingbox, but I'd want it to be on TV2. And then I'd need the adapter to turn TV2 into IR, etc.
