In a way this reminds me of the Directv/weather channel dispute. Imo this is not hurting dish as bad as turner. If it goes long enough turner will come back with their tail between their legs & for less money than they're getting now.
nope..they have TNT and TBSIn a way this reminds me of the Directv/weather channel dispute. Imo this is not hurting dish as bad as turner. If it goes long enough turner will come back with their tail between their legs & for less money than they're getting now.
dish only lost ~100 thousand customers last quarter..obviously their game plan is to make higher profit with fewer customers..eventually it won't work anymoreYea, but Dish has shown their colors with AMC. They will drop popular channels. They are not afraid to do it, and it still hurts Turner a lot more.

Not even close to the Directv/TWC dispute because nobody really missed or wanted back TWC and their less weather more reality crap, and why we even have it back.In a way this reminds me of the Directv/weather channel dispute.
Yes, can't get enough of this tired meme over and over again.I wouldn't care if they ever came back ,but it won't mean my bill goes down.
You also got to consider I sold a lot of Directv last week, mostly from dish customers complaining.
How much can dish take customers canceling service ??
Did you really get that many switching just because of those channels? I still haven't come in and mention the channels or even have anyone call me. When we lost our local ABC channel and the Big Ten Network a few years ago we had complaints nonstop and did lose a lot of customers though. I will admit that you probably have a lot more customers than I have though so you would hear from more of them.
We're not that big and we've had several calls and complaints and have one new install on hold.
