I hope they find some new cast members for next season. It has been very weak this year.

That's the reason SNL has sucked so bad : Don Pardo was missing!
there are at least two i would replace but i really do feel its more of a writers issue. don't matter the tools you get if you don't know how to use them. i just thought about it and i don't remember laughing once at this past weekend's SNL.
This season started strong as they stepped out of Wiig's shadow but yeah, something has just seemed off about the last few episodes.

Me Either. I don't recall laughing once . I didn't even find Seth funny on weekend update. The hosts that they have had in this last month or two have been the worst and mostly unkown to me, except Justin Bieber and he was so full of himself that he was the host, the actors in the skits and the musical entertainment too. I was so sick with Bieber Fever by the end of that show I was ready to hurl.

seth is one i think whose time is up. the weekend update has stunk for a long time and i don't think they use him for any of the sketches anymore.
well then,that's part of the problem. writers like Steve Higgins who i believe has been on staff for a very long time may need to go as well. he's an excellent writer but maybe his material has become stale. some of the others i'm not too familiar with.
Tina Fey used to be the head writer back in the day before 30 rock. It might be time to get another woman head writer. Seth has lost his funny bone.
She was a good writer when on the staff. I don't know if Tina would want to come back.
Holy CRAP, how may celebrities are they going to have do cameos tonight! What a treat. At least for the monolog/skit. Pretty darned funny so far. Let's see what the rest of the show holds...
