Slow page changes on satelliteguys.com

Carol is using FF and seems to be working faster than My IE8 but still does not finish loading pages although she is navigating through pages pretty much at the same speed as usual. I just timed it with IE8 and its about 45 seconds to load a new page.

I rebooted the servers. Let me know if that made a difference.

I am logged into the server and watching things and they appear to be running normally.

If your still having trouble go to a dos prompt and type tracert www.satelliteguys.us and post what it reports.

No Still 45 seconds or so. Strange thing is upload is fine.

Seems like that might have helped a bit but hostedopenx.com is still doing whatever it is doing, very slowly.

Can't get to hostedopenx.com, their website is down It's got to be them, I added "x.x.x.x hostedopenx.com" to my hosts file (where x.x.x.x is the address of a local webserver) now everything is lightning fast!

Yep same here since about noon today Satellite Guys is running extremely slow.
It was Fine this morning,and I rebooted twice on my end. I have no issues with anyother website.
Satellite Guys is having a problem.

The speeds vary on everything, but HostedOpenX.com was hanging me up enough to come here and comment.
I assume it's on my Hosts ban list, as I cannot reach it at all from this computer.
Are they new?

Yup. Only satelliteguys has the problem and it is still there Hangs up for a half minute or so. Makes no difference with Chrome

I am having the same problem...it takes about 30-40 seconds to display a new page. When I click on a link I can see that the data from the internet loads at its normal speed, but then nothing happens for 30 seconds, then the page finally appears. This just started happening to me this afternoon, this morning all was OK. I have tried on 2 different computers and they are both acting the same way.

BTW, all my other web browsing/forum visits today are acting normally.

Ok I cleared my cache files and all my cookies. It took the same long amount of time to log on. Strange thing is that advertising bar on the upper right hand corner will sometimes get through in 2 or three seconds while the new page still takes 45 seconds. For me loading a post is still fast....

Tried tracert - seems to have bombed at unknown.xeex.net [216.151.129.142] then 15 lines of Request timed out.
