I think I know what it is, its the green underlined ads, which I don't see nor do supporting member (aka Pub members)

I have an idea but am out at dinner now.

I have removed the IntelliTxt ads from the registered memebrs for now.

Please let me know if that makes any difference.

Nope, the pages still take about 20 seconds to fully load. BTW, what is a green underlined ad? I have never seen one. I have seen little green men, though. :D

I am back to zooming.. I am thinking it might be a bottleneck at one of the servers right before Scott's. or a combo of things.

EDIT 9:40PM it started hanging again on some pages.

Is this normal, my pages load painfully slow until I set my browser security setting to high.

Stellar you have a serious internet problem. I would contat your ISP about those numbers which are way high. (And they are high out of the gate)

Scott
it "hiccups" here too

Click on a post and it hangs. (brings up the top part but thats it) If I hit refresh sometimes it works. Sometimes I close the browser and come back in and then its fine.

This morning it's often taking a long time to download donate.gif, then from the mm.something.something site that's after it. IE6 tells me the d/l is done. I scroll through several posts then get snapped back to the first unread.

Much of my tracert times around then were in the 190ms range, a check just now had 109ms as the slowest result.

Hooray! The pages are loading fast again! :D

Seems to be that bigboards link. Which will have nothing to do with response times to sateliteguys. Happening to me also.
