Let it be known that Slipnot are just a bunch of posers. I've got a lot of dirt on them, but the short is they basically stole the look and sound of another band. The band I'm referring to of course is Cleveland's own: Mushroomhead.

Yes, it is; especially in the form of hiding faces: KISS, Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Mushroom"dead", etc. all cover(ed) their faces in some form or another, whether paint or masks. Not original....But, as long as the music is good, I'm not concerned.

Not really. My musical tastes have actually grown since I used to listen to them in their hay-day10-15 years ago. Personally, I don't listen to either one of them.

OK...Then why even post anything? I can respect your opinion but if you don't care, then wasn't this a total waste of your time? The point of the thread was to tell people that are Slipknot fans of the upcoming release..NOT to argue about one band ripping another off or who's better than who. I love this site but posting on here NEVER fails to produce naysayers. I swear to _ _ _, you could post the sky is blue & sometimes has clouds floating in it, and you'd get 5 people who want to argue otherwise, even on a NON-OPINIONATED subject..Jeez.

I apologize. I must've misinterpreted the title of this thread. Didn't realize till after that "All Hope is Gone" was the title of their upcoming album. Instead, I thought this was a thread about how the new album sucked or something. It was then I thought this was open to "anti-slipknot" rants. Carry on....

I can see where it could've been misinterpreted. I never looked at the thread title from thatangle. Now, I see I should've labled the title differently. Thanks for the explanation! Apology accepted.:up

At first I thought the title of the thread was about somebody about to "end it all", then I read on and found out it was about a band. So I looked up the band and listened, and now I want to "end it all".
