the red light on the sling adapter is on, my 722 is connected to the internet, and I don't have a private router. I only use the modem/router with uverse. It's been that way since I connected the sling adapter and it's always worked. Now I don't have the ability to watch live TV only record option. Any ideas?

Have you reset the network connection on your receiver to see if the IP address is showing properly? Menu-6-1-9-2-reset connection.
Also try resetting the receiver, and modem/router (unplug both). How is the receiver connected to the internet?

Matt, I have reset the network connection and get a IP address, and the 722 shows online. I can go to dishonline and see my receiver and set recordings but not the sling adapter/watch now. I haven't rebooted the 722 or my router, I'll try both tonight. My 722 is connected via a CAT5e cable directly to my modem/router
