Can't figure this one out:
While the sling adapter was a cinch to install (maybe three minutes from start to finish), I have a problem that the "title" above indicates.

Everything is working very well except that when I disconnect from the "browser" interface from dish.com (within the web player) the adapter disconnects but not the 722.

Moreover, once when I viewed through IE 9 (beta) I had the familiar dish remote; now it is gone. And it never appeared in Firefox.

Any thoughts?

I'll try it out a little later and get back to you if you don't get a response by then. Are you saying that when you shut down the browser, your 722 doesn't shut off?

I think he must be saying that, because hitting the X on the video playback window shuts down my 722 properly. I did have the plug-in crash on me once. When I restarted it, it claimed another person had control of the stream and asked if I wanted to take it over, which I did.

yes, that's exactly what I am saying.
when i exit the web based sling player the sling adapter disconnects as expected.
but the 722 is still live.
and it is still live when i log off and shut the browser.

Relocating from 61.5° to 129° question.

Is Dishnetwork possible??
