I am working on a multilnb bracket for my slimline dish I am trying to get the outer lnb's to receive other satellites but I am having no luck I have seen other posts with the superdish but none for the slimline. I have some pics here to help you guys out. I am using dish network superdish lnb's.

What satellites are you planning to receive? If they are more West or further East from your meridian, then your LNB's wouldn't be on the same height (level). I have a 36" dish with 2 LNB receiving sats 97 and 101. The 97 is in the normal focal point, and the 101 LNB is on East side of 97 LNB, and more than a 3/4 higher for the best S/Q, as I am in Toronto (meridian 79). Cheers, polgyver

i want to receive 97, 87, 91, and 101. If I can't I want to receive 87, 97, 101w.

I picked a city on the map, then looked up longitude for Angola, Ind.
It's 85 west.

You are going to want to mount the LNBFs straight across the face of the dish.
That's okay, because you'll skew the dish .
(Fine tuning the skew of the LNBFs will be your last step, and should be minimal.)

For your first example, 91 to 101 ...
Aim the dish at: (91+101)/2=96 & lock it down
Skew the DISH for a bird at 96w & lock it down
Move your LNBFs around to locate the respective birds.
Start with most central satellite.
See comment above regarding the line to locate the LNBFs.

Second example, 87 to 101 ...
Aim the dish at (87+101)/2=94
Skew the dish for a bird at 94 west
... follow same steps as above

Hopefully, that should get you off to a start. :)

I am not 100 percent sure of this, i need to go home to verify it but-
if u have the original lnb to the slimline, put it back on and recheck lnb position. build a cardboard cutout of the exact angle and ht of the old lnb.
U are using an old superdish bracket which does not line up the same as the directv lnb does. it is possible that u are not looking at the sweet spot of the dish.
I will be double checking all this myself as i am doing the same thing for a friend of mine. we just set up 97w on it and getting 70q with a microhd and standard lnb on the slimline. it is worth a second look. my apologies if u have already done this.

there was a previous post about using a superdish lnb on a slimline that was made by someone else. they put the superdish lnb under the arm to match the focal point of the directv lnb so I took that idea and ran with it.

Also on my setup when i have one DN lnb in the middle like normal I don't skew when I put it at dead level it comes in at a better signal than skewing it.

I checked last night, the 2 do point differently. best to double check that- or u may be looking a bit over or under the dish.
if u like your results then by all means go with it. i cant see it being a large hangup for circular signals.
