I currenlty have 1 Rec1eiver hooked up to a legacy single LNB DISH.

I want to be able to add a second receiver to tune Sky Angel channels on a second tv.

I have a second Receiver. What do I need to do to hook it up?

Can I just Split the Cable comming from the DISH to two receivers? or do I need something else?

Any help is appreciated.

You need a dual LNB. If you have a second output on your LNB just run a cable from there.

As Pepper said, all you need to do is replace the single LNB with a dual LNB and run a second line to where ever you want to place your second receiver.

Or, if you only want one line coming from the dish into the house, get a dish pro lnbf and dish pro splitter. That's what I've done with mine. The line is split after it comes in the house. I got my single dish pro lnbf and splitter on eBay,
and I didn't have to pay a whole lot for it.

All this assumes that you have a newer model receiver. I don't think the older
legacy receivers will work with the dish pro lnbfs.

So If I understand to have two recievers I need a Dual LNB. Is this the only way? I was hoping to not have to run a second line out there.

Also if that is my only choice where do I get one?

I have a Dish 500 Dish that I could not get to work. Do any of the pieces on that help me?? The Heads on it are labeled Digital LNBF. And it came with a Videopath Multi-dish Switch SW21.

Babalouie gave you the option to run only one line into the house, but it is much more expensive than the solution I gave. I'm not sure what receiver you have, but some receivers (older models) cannot handle this solution without a $70 adaptor.

From what you describe, you already have a Dual LNB. It looks like this one but it has two screw connectors rather than just the one pictured here.

You will not need the SW21 if you are only looking at the 61.5 location
