Single channel lost signal

I frequently "lose satellite signal" on Espn News channel on one receiver at a time. It won't work on my hopper but will be fine on a Joey, & vice versa. It's the same lost signal screen we see when rain or snow wrecks the signal. All other channels (that I check) are fine. The signal always comes back later on only to happen again another day. Anyone else have this issue?

On the Hopper hit YELLOW - BLUE - 3 and click on Send Status. Press SELECT on Connection, once that completes click Check Signal. Once that completes it will give you all your signal strengths on the various sats and the home transponders. It will also compare the tuners to make sure that they are consistent. If your signals are not within 2-3 points of each other on all 3 tuners then you have an installation issue. Typically it's tuner #3 that has issues as it uses the highest frequency (higher frequencies attenuate a lot easier.)

What are some possible installation issues?

Not likely. If it were not aimed properly then it would affect all receivers at the same time.

Did you try my suggestion in my previous post?

Is this on a clear day? Your tuner 1 seems to be having issues according to the pics. Tuner 1 issues could indicate either a cabling issue between the node and the dish or a bad LNB. Can you run the tests again and take another pic?

Other than the tuner 1, your signal strength looks great. Might need a tech visit.

On the Hopper, hit YELLOW - GREEN. Does section "a" say good?

Leaning toward connector/cabling issue based on these tests. Time to get a tech out to fix.
