Simple Beginner Question...

I have a multiswitch in my attic that runs to my HD box, 2 lines to my DTivo, and 2 separate regular boxes.

I wanted to add a second box to my room with th HD so I can run Picture in Picture. Do I need a separate line run from the multiswitch or can that line be split??

Am I even asking the right question or is there another way?

I only ask because running a separate lien would require a pain in the butt install.

You must have the seperate lines. Upgrade the multi-switch if you need an extra output. Cap any unused output on the switch.
