Signal strength of 1000.2 Vrs 1000.4 WA

I would like to know if the slight increase in signal strength of the 1000.4 WA over the 1000.2 would make it a little easier to "findthe birds".
I'm real interested in the answer because I am an RVer and will be aiming at the birds from time to time using a Bullseye mount and/or a tripod.
