Signal Strength / New Install Issues

'Seeking tech help to determine whether my AT-9 and International dish install was performed correctly. Below find signal strength diagonistics taken from my two H20 receivers--most strength readings are in the 60s and 70s. I suspect the "senior" tech did not peak the signals.

Based on other posts to this forum, D*'s new HD equipment should get receiver signals in the 90s. The AT-9 and 36" dishes are roof mounted on my one story garage with no trees or other obstructions in the southern sky.

In addition, presumably to save cable, the tech attached the 8 x 6 multiswitch to the pole of the AT-9 mount. This allowed him to run just two cables approx. 40 feet into the house where the lines are grounded and fed to my HDTVs. Based on other posts to this forum, I understand the ground should be located outside the dwelling and the multiswitch mounted inside.

I called DirecTV to disuss the issues but they referred me to the installer (Premiere Communications). I signed-off on the job but should I insist on having the install re-done to prevent future issues and/or safety hazards?

if you signed off, and there are no grounding issues etc. you want it re-done, you pay $$$$$.

the HD IRDs do not get readings in the 90s
