Seems like the best quality I've achieved thus far is as high as 72% and that's on AMC6 (GBN). As far as the other transponders/satellites, I'm getting pretty much no higher than 70% signal quality and most are in the 50% area. The picture looks fine, but I was wondering if my signal quality is lower given that I'm all the way on the West coast (Bay Area in California)?

I get 91 on Coolsat on GBN from SF bay area. But picture breaks sometimes and becomes still / skips frame once in a while.

I don't have the Mercury II so I can't comment but on the Classic the meter does read lower than other boxes I have

No picture problems on GBN with the signal quality in the upper 60%'s to lower 70%'s. On SBS6, ONN comes in between 36-48% and sometimes the picture breaks up. Wonder why the Fortec receivers show lower signal quality than other receivers.
