In my current location, I can't get D* anymore. So, I'm using my D* bo:mad:RCA DTC210) to get my local OTA HD signals. The antenna is a Silver Sensor, and here's this part:
* yellow - uhf KSWB-DT 5.1 WB SAN DIEGO CA 175° 8.6 19
* yellow - uhf KNSD-DT 39.1 NBC SAN DIEGO CA 175° 8.6 40
* yellow - uhf KPBS-DT 15.1 PBS SAN DIEGO CA 175° 8.5 30
* lt green - uhf KUSI-DT 51.1 IND SAN DIEGO CA 175° 8.6 18
* blue - uhf KGTV-DT 10.1 ABC SAN DIEGO CA 260° 19.4 25
* blue - uhf KFMB-DT 8.1 CBS SAN DIEGO CA 260° 19.5 55
* violet - uhf XETV-DT 6.1 FOX TIJUANA MX 185° 23.2 23

When watching some of these stations, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I always have a signal strength of 80 or higher, but sometimes it just drops out.

And there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. One night all is fine, no loss. Another night(or sometimes just at a different time in the same day), I get horrible dropouts, sometimes constantly in and out.

My HD tuner also hangs up on my sometimes, and I have to reset it to get it to respond. Any ideas on what's going on here?

Sounds like multi-path distortion which causes a digital signal to oscillate. Try pointing your antenna a few degrees left or right to see if this clears it up.

OTA Antenna setup question

Why is my Signal all over the place?
