Show icon weirdness. (pic)

See what's wrong here? The top 3 shows were recorded on the HWS. The bottom 3 were transferred from an EHD. The first time I tried a transfer from the EHD I picked a show that didn't matter if I lost it or not. Cake Boss. It transferred and played fine. I transferred a few more from the EHD and they all showed up with the Cake Boss icon but the correct show title. I deleted the Cake Boss epi to see if that would clear it up. It did not. Every show I transfer from the EHD to the HWS now has a Cake Boss icon. On the EHD all titles have the generic Dish logo and upon transfer they morph into Cake Boss. :

Maybe the media stream file need to be updated. I would leave the box in standby for an hour if possible and then see if it fixes it. Maybe even try a reboot after that.

Most of my EHD icons (all transferred from a 622) disappeared with the previous software update, and haven't come back since. Dish's software engineering is really getting to be a joke. Why do they keep breaking things that they shouldn't even have had to change at all?

I think it is more the transfer/move process that loses the tiles. Both the 722 to H2000 and the H2000 to HWS transfers lost the tiles/icons. Some are replaced as soon as they are available for other episodes or are in general distribution. Don't expect to see them soon for show that are seldom shown.

With channel number changes some may never be replaced like those for VOOM or even moved ones like HDNet Movies.

I didn't move anything to the Hopper -- I'm afraid to after seeing all the reports of it not working. The icons used to be there on the EHD -- didn't even take a few days after installation like people say they usually do, they were just there. Now, they're not. Yes, a few of the older recordings never got icons, but they even disappeared from ones that did.

I don't believe this is the case. The only movies/programs I have that still show the correct tile are recently transferred (prior to S328). The S328 update wiped out nearly all of my tiles on both of my connected EHD's and replaced them with generic Dish tiles. On the drive with Series on it the titles of episodes are all messed up as well as losing the icon's. It's really a mess.
