should i sign up now or wait?

1st post so please be kind...

i'm moving into a different house in 2 weeks- hopefully it'll be ready- and i'll be signing up for directtv as a new customer. the current promo with free dvr & sunday ticket expires next week- my question: should i buy now and ask for install when i'm sure the house will be ready, or wait and see if they offer a new promo package after i move in?

These are more important questions. Have you surveyed the house to see if you have line of sight to the satellites? Have you determined which rooms will have receivers? Will there be any problems running cables to those rooms? Also, for future expansion, have the lines from the dish run to a common location from where you'd distribute the signals.
