I am considering asking Dish to Re Peak my Eastern Arc Dish and wanted your thoughts if the signal strengths are lower than they should be in zip code 02766. I have the service plan. Thanks for your feedback and happy holidays to you!

You might get better signal strengths for 61.5 and 72.7 ,but I think that 77 is going to be lower no matter what till they replace the old sat there next August. Scott said that 77 is low strength in Connecticut as well. I get signals in the 40 - 50 range on 77 sat down in southeast Texas. While 72.7 is coming in the 60-70 range and 61.5 anywhere from 40- 70.

77 could be a lot higher but if your locals are not on it, I wouldn't worry about it.

61.5 is lower than normal but most HD is moving off of it eventually.

72.7 isn't that bad but is going to be carrying all the main programming

For a $15 service call, get it repeaked

also I doubt the meter on the point dish screen actually shows a percentage seeing how it goes to 125.

You are right It isnt a percentage, it is a value, there is a threshold that each one needs meet in order for wind and rain to not effect the signal.

When I had my EARC installed (zip 14505), the installer made a point to tell me that the values would be lower than before, but there was nothing to worry about.

Since digital is digital, if you are getting a clear signal with no artifacts then you are having no problems and the signal strength numbers mean nothing.
