Shoe Shine?

Stupid question, but believe it or not...I can't find an answer on the whole of the Internet. I am working a lot of hours and traveling quite a bit lately. To save time, I thought that I would get a shoe shine when I am airport tomorrow. I am former military so I've always taken care of my footwear, but I just don't have time these days. Anyway, I don't ever recall seeing a price list at the shoe shine stand, and I can't find anything when I search for pricing or tipping.

Anyway, how much does it cost for a shine at the airport and what is the customary tip?

Its usually $5 or$ 6 and I normally give them a $10

Good hotels also usually offer a shoe shine services. Many while you sleep. So no loss of time, pre-board or after de-plane. If you have a good layover then both are good options.
