UPS will not allow you change the delivery address as the receiving party. If they do, that is an exception for sure. But what you can do, is contact them and ask for them to hold it for you to pick up. With a few exceptions, they will do that.

The trouble with that is the UPS holding office is gonna be somewhere near the delivery address. That might be hundreds of miles from the OPs real address.

You should be able to call UPS and give them a different address to deliver the package or pick up at their pickup window.

This true. I have often done that when something needs to be signed for andno one is going to be home. Shouldn't be a big deal.
