Shaw HD PVR 630 PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!

Me and my husband have been trying to get signal to are receiver for over a week now we are ready to give up whenever we are on the "bar page" then go to tweek the satellite the receiver shuts off, we just finally got it to stay on long enough when we are on channel 750 it reads that we have 86-87 percent and it stays green but when we got to surf channels it says that we lost signal and everything and no pictures or data nothing shows up! PLEASE HELP

what channel are you using to tune your receiver? RDS? is your receiver activated?
