The final block of Std Def duplicate signals drop

CNBC HD a while ago was mentioned as a maybe for 2019 but there has been no word yet. Daystar was a late HD addition so there may be hope for CNBC.

2020 - the rest of the few std def channels?

Henry - Permanently for now - how is that for being sure. I don't whether they are moving these channels to balance load on the three birds or if it's an silent acknowledgement of southern subscribers. In any case I would think they are there for the foreseeable future.

The following channels flip from Std Def to HD today. All on F1R.
The HD version takes the number of the Std Def version if you are still on Classic or Advanced.

I assume you got changed to the new national numbering sequence. I expect by Wednesday it will come back in HD once they finish moving signals between satellites. Worst case scenario is Oct 16th but hopefully they will update the channel maps to the new location between the 23rd and 25th of September

The following channel signals were dropped in Standard Definition today. The HD version can be found on the following channel numbers.
Anything highlighted in pink is on G1 and unavailable in more southern locations. From another forum the signals that have moved to F2 have been mapped into the Classic, Advanced and National channel numbering sequences.

CTV2 Alberta launched in HD on G1 today.
Fashion TV Std Def also maps to a new location on G1
Both become inaccessible in a southern location.

Also any receiver older than a 6xx, ie 500 series are no longer supported and the few channels they were receiving should be gone.
