Shaw 2 x 8 multi switch

I just recently renovated my rec room, so I wanted to run two feeds to it for a PVR. I got a 2 x 8 multi switch hooked up to a quad lnb from shaw direct. The problem is that I am losing signal on some channels since I installed it. The switch says 13v and 18v. Does it matter which wire goes where and if so what's the correct way? Thanks for any help.

I could be wrong but for the Quad LNBF I think you need the 4 x 8 switch.

You're not wrong. That 2x8 switch won't work.
