The only set I've found to meet and exceed (in certain areas) my plasma is my Sony 65XBR850A.

I probably could have dealt with the blacks, because it still looked pretty nice, but the color accuracy and the way the CMS acted really killed it. No reason to trade tv's for one with a much worse black level and less accurate color after calibration. Lose lose. Sony has been doing gamma and color right very well lately.

Have you considered the Sony 70W850B? That set has gotten some really good reviews.

Yeah, when I was going to buy this year it was at the top of my list. I just think Im going to sit out at least another year. I really want a 65 or 70" OLED to be honest, but we will see. Im not spending $8k on a tv either lol
