I have connected my old NES system (yeah I know, I shouldn't expect it to look great) to my brand new Sharp Aquos 32" LCD using RCA cables and the display has severe changes in brightness whenever there is any movement on the screen. For example, a dark gray background darkens noticeably when there is movement on the screen, then lightens back up when the movement stops. I have tried changing view modes and some of the display settings, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone know what causes this problem? Should there be settings on my TV to correct this problem or could it be a problem with the TV itself? Or is this just the best I can expect to get out of an old system (which looks great on my 27" CRT by the way).
