Just saw a report in our local CBS that Sears in Long Island, NY was charging $350 per hour to pump water out of basements. Some people got bills for up to $10,000. Comparing prices with other companies even in the case of emergencies, the charge was only $100-$150 per hour and no more than 5 hours of work.
