I upgraded from a 90 CM to a 1.2M and I know the motor that I have can handle the new dish. The only issue is the shaft is too small as its a 44 cm and I need a 50 CM shaft for the new dish. Any ideas on what I can conjer up to make the shaft bigger. (No sexual pun intended, I know someone is thinking it :D )

Short of ordering a new motor, I'm not sure what I could do.

Not sure which motor that you have, but several models have interchangeable posts. Before you purchase a new motor, check with the motor reseller for possible post upgrades.

Someone has posted a similar issue wrt using a winegard and a 44cm shaft. Hope this helps
