It does not matter what the scale says, or if there is even a scale there , set the motor angle then peak the dish to your satellite and lock it down when you get the best signal! Use the signal quality meter.

...Which was my answer if you bought it off ebay.
Ignore the scale completely. Rumour has it that a big lot of the Fortec dishes were incorrectly marked.
Guess where they ended up?

Hi everybody,

Yes I bought the dish out of ebay, I will give it another try this weekend (if there is no hurricane this time) and I will post my results here. I have an inclinometer and will try to set the declination with the inclinometer and not use the scale on the dish.

make sure your pole is plum all the way around perfectly verical. if not the "arc" will be off east west or in the middle. use a level and check the vertical trueness of your mounting pole.
