SF Bay area: KQED HD Disappeared

Actually it didn't Tampa. There is a difference between KQED+ and KQED. + is on Monument Peak and KQED is on Sutro Tower. At any rate, KQED Digital Channel 30, Virtual Channel 9 is up and running right now.

"KQED/KQET HD is available Over The Air (OTA) 24/7 to all viewers who have a high definition television set and a digital receivers It transmits from both Sutro Tower in San Francisco, and the KQET Tower on Fremont Peak, northeast of Monterey."

Apparently it broadcasts from two locations?

Yes, that is true....

Edit, KQED is on digital channel 30 for Sutro Tower. KQET is on digital channel 58 from Fremont Peak. KQET carries the exact same programs as KQED and is geared to look at the Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz market.

My 211 also reverted back to SD default. I had to go into the favorites list and deselect SD and select HD.

how many receivers can I have?

Is Dish going to have a new guide in HD like Directv ?
