Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has ever been humiliated by a dish telemarketer making a sexual pass, I think this bozo was calling from India and he had the audacity to make a pass at my wife. I tried filing a complaint with dish but they did not seem overly concerned, do I have any other recourse.

DISH does not use Telemarketers calling from India. So DISH can not do anything about someone who does not work for them unfortunately.

I did not know that Dish does not use these telemarketers.
OK, so the telemarketers do get their commission from somewhere and whatever business they generate does go to the Dish, so the Dish should have some degree of control. I hope they realize the damage these people do and the ill feeling they spread.

Yup the way it works is one DISH retailer goes against the rules and hires a telemarketing agency to generate sales. They pay a small amount to them for each sale they make.
Unfortunately these telemarketers will do or say anything to make a sale.
To make matters worse is they spoof their caller id and use a number associated with DISH Network so it looks like DISH is calling but they are not.
As I said DISH has been working hard to shut these down, but they keep popping up... and its not just a DISH problem, the same goes for DIRECTV.
