I brought my 1000.4 EA dish along in the RV but I am having trouble finding the sats. I am in Corpus Christi area and the dish angles are Elev 48, Azm 131, and Sk 52. Will this dish position make it more sensitive and therefore require a very precise pointing. I last set it up in Jacksonville Fl and had little trouble. It seems to me the skew is now going to make it harder to setup. Would appreciate advise on how to proceed.

An eastern arc dish is a real pain to aim ,especially the triple lnb 1000.4 sat dish. You would be better off using the western arc 1000.2 sat dish or the same dish with just the new eastern arc lnb for two sats. I have the old 1000.4 dish with triple lnb for 3 sats and it took a while trying to aim it and I had it on a pole in the back yard. The 1000.2 dish is more like point and aim ,lock in place and your ready to go. The 1000.4 dish has been discontinued.
i have used the 1K4 for tailgating and no problems, a little bit harder to aim but not that bad,(imho) but i do use a bird dog meter!
