I bought the :
Chaparral C/KU band Corotor ll Plus Combo Pack, Feedhorn w C and KU LNBs
The Corotor II Plus is designed for systems which require reception of both C and Ku-band signals. The Corotor II Plus is primarily for reception of satellites in the United States.
Corotor 2 Plus Features:
Patented probe for C-band reception
Unique Low-loss dipole antenna for Ku-band reception
Receives linear C-band signals in the 3.7-4.2 GHz Range
Receives linear Ku-band signals in the 11.7-12.7 GHz range
I installed in the 10 foot mesh dish. I have a Pansat3500. Trying to get it going and can not get any signal showing in the pansat screen.
I was reviewing all the tread again to see if I missed something.
I got all the equipment free and decided to change the original feedhorn and lnb for the ones above. When I did the install I just inserted the feedhorn into the scalar ring and set it to .36 according to my calculation.
The one thing I am NOT sure is if I had to leave the servo motor pointing in certain direction, Horizontal, vertical. Do I have to or it does not matter? I do not even know how it is pointing now. Would that affect me?
